My Typical Day

Or lack of…

Heh, there isn’t a consistent time I need to get up at. Neither do I have any curfues or definite sleeping patterns. The joys of being a Uni student. :D

My days start of with classes, and the occasional odd activity. The day before it was an impromptu session of gaming at my friend’s place. Yesterday I attended some resume writing lecture, which I had discovered only an hour prior to its commencement. Also made an impromptu visit to the library. Heh, my weekly work review ended up as a history session. It’s amazing how much the Mongolians impacted the politics and history of our world today. The invading hordes of Genghis Khan redefined national borders and caused an exchange of culture throughout Asia and Europe. The displacement of the Turks led to the conquering of Constantinople of the Roman Empire which led to the Crusades and war between the Christians and Muslims (if memory serves me correctly, that’s how it happened). Who’d imagine such a chain reaction in events.

Tis 3am now at Melbourne, I’ve been doing other stuff since early evening. My immediate concern is fixing up my resume for a job application where the deadline ends in 12 hrs. Heh, I’ve been worrying about the next 6 mths. What to do after graduation? I”m sure there will be jobs waiting for me, but like employers wish to seek out the best employees, us prospective employees wish to seek out the best employers.

Heh, like they say, you cross the bridge when you come to it. At least preparing a half decent resume now will bring me slightly closer to getting a job. *sigh*.. I’d better finalise my resume now.
