Heh, I still like taking pictures of still life. They’re more forgiving in the sense that they can be patient with me and I can fiddle with all the manual controls on my camera until I get the exposure just right. I have been experimenting with other subjects of photography, but that’s another matter altogether. Let’s just simply say that I’m still lacking a proper speedlight (or if you want to think bigger, a true DSLR that can crank up the ISO and still achieve picture perfection without horrendous noise) to take well exposed indoor shots with people in it.
I like the following picture. It’s a plant just outside my apartment which I’m sure that most passers-by would totally ignore. You really do see the world from a different perspective once you start framing everything in your mind. Heh, sometimes I wonder how warped my mind really is.
