Being a friend, you don’t have to share every single moment of your life, not that you’d want to anyway. Heh, physics wise, time constraints would make that impossible, unless you were a lousy quark (or was it a photon) that could exist simultaneously in multiple locations at the same time. Unfortunately, we as an entity in human form aren’t microscopic enough to be a part of these laws. Yes, blame the weirdness of quantum mechanics.
Loneliness is sometimes an insecurity we subject ourselves to. Under normal circumstances, we will always have friends and even when they don’t have time for you, they will always be there for you. Do you expect your friends to be there for you when you are in need? Probably. Although turning it around, other people who are your friends would expect the same from you. Heh, although I do think that the communication requirements for such an endeavour isn’t necessarily easy (most of us don’t say half of what’s on our mind or even mean the things we say most of the time). As friends the best we can do is only anticipate when our company is most needed.
Heh, the phrase for this season of this blog is so true. “Life is never what you plan it to be, but you can still enjoy the ride.”
