Coffee Appreciation

As is typical with me, I like to watch someone do something first, try and attempt it, THEN only read the instructions on how it’s really done.

Just recently bought a coffee plunger and I’ve been experimenting with how to get a good drop of coffee out of it. Obviously, people like me like to fiddle with things before trying to do it the proper way. Coffee’s been coming out nice, but probably not as good as it can be. Have quite high expectations of coffee these days, especially those from big machines with heaps of pressure to ooze out the oils from the grinded coffee beans. At times, the machine in use isn’t the essense to a good cup of coffee, but rather, it depends solely on the person standing behind the machine and working it.

Thinking of life these days. It’s a habit for me to always think of myself and my surroundings, to adjust and adapt and even maybe at times, to try and not feel too comfortable with the things I already have. It’s not that I don’t appreciate the good things in my life, but you don’t want to become complacent and take things for granted. At the same time, you want to keep a watchout and try new things, even if they represent the opposite to the core of your own soul (heh, I think a lot of things are like that to me).

Yeap, another Monday. Time to get ready for work.
