Being a bit bored and also a little lazy (more like impatient) to wait until tomorrow, I guess I’d just post this here and now. Heh, this blog is now two years old (in exactly one day).
Nearly time to go back to work in Melbourne. Heh, looking forward to it, yet I feel I’d miss the time to be able to laze and idle around. Read a number of books, ate many of the local dishes, met up with relatives, did some shopping. Quite happy with the amount of stuff done this time round, heh.
Learnt quite a bit of stuff playing around with my D70. Understanding a little more on why people like prime lenses. They are much sharper than the 2 zoom lenses I have. My 50mm 1.8G lens captures quite a bit of detail, and I was so tempted to get the 60mm 2.8 macro lens while I was here. Heh, it’s roughly RM1300++ while the equivalent lens is like AUD$800 in Melbourne, and the exchange rate is AUD$1 to RM2.80 (the prices don’t compute). I’m not too sure why there is such a disparity in price. Heh, still thinking back to first year econs, was it Purchasing Power Parity? A Big Mac in Malaysia should cost the same as a Big Mac in Australia and in the UK.
Back to this blog. Maybe a new, minimalistic design when I go back and have some time to do it. Lots to do back in Melbourne, so little time, heh, might see an update only in March.
