Autumn is here.
It is as if someone flipped a switch. You could still feel hot from the sun’s rays a few days ago. Then one day clouds loomed over and it rained. From then on it’s been much cooler, and you can actually smell a difference in the air. It doesn’t feel as baked. You do need the sun as well, just to keep warm when you walk out of the shade. You just know it in your bones that this weather is here to stay.
It reminds me a little of what it used to be like the first time I arrived in Melbourne some distant memory ago. A little nostalgia in things these days, as I have been reading through my notes at the Law library just next door. Heh, used to be a carefree student once, and studying wasn’t too much a hassle other than the times you needed to hand in assignments or sit for the final papers. Now it interferes with my hobbies. Was playing Oblivion a bit, and watched the sun rise over the castle just before the horizon. You can’t feel the wind, but you can see it naturally shifting through the trees. It looks good. Heh.
Looking forward to Guild Wars: Factions when it arrives in April. Will let it be played out a bit and maybe get a copy when the prices drop a little.
Heh, just 8 more days of torture, then normal channel scheduling will resume.
