Heh, can sort of understand how people age faster during their work life. You do tend to put more effort in as you need to churn out the work you’re being paid to do. With studying, there is more leeway given to solve problems and do things. Time is less permissable now but I guess these couple of weeks have been slightly more hectic.
Yesterday was a none typical day. Got up at 5am, studied bits and arrived at work around 730am (and I still wasn’t the earliest, as amazing as that is). Worked until 3pm before I broke off for a 20 min lunch. Finally finished at 610pm feeling quite dead. Heh, had dinner with a friend before I got home, long enough to catch one episode of House MD and a shower. Slept until 5am the next morning, which is now.
I guess the odd hours are reflected in the need to catch up with studying while juggling work obligations. Heh, somehow it still feels manageable, although it wears you thin at times. So need the breathing space after the exams next week, which seems like the focus of my life at the moment. Heh.
