Life is inspirational.
Just watched a theatre production by Melbourne Uni’s Chinese Theatre Group. There were only a handful of actors/actresses on the stage, but at the end of it all, the full production team came out and there were close to 50 people. My mandarin’s a bit rusty, but I managed to understand the story well. It was a sketch about a hotel and how a murderer was hiding amongst one of the guests. Everyone was a likely suspect and you were left guessing until the very end.

Life should be about happiness. The more I dwell into the details of things, the less I find them to be important. Heh, you acquire a whole lot of information to start planning, to see how things would work and predict outcomes. In the end, it doesn’t really matter.
We choose to be happy, no one can take that from us. No amount of blaming someone else will ease our pains and discomforts. You do not start something by believing it is beyond your capabilities, that would be the first reason why you’d fail. Saying you don’t like history as a reason why you do so badly in it is a lousy excuse to do badly. Find a reason to like it, know why you need to learn it. This is a general analogy for everything we do and don’t do, from bad habits to avoiding what’s supposed to be good for you.

I just want to feel alive.
