Not one for square photos, but that’s the output of one of the apps on my iPhone with the built in camera. The 5mp camera is nothing great (compared to a D300 of course) but for images you post on the web, it’s a pretty compelling device to have with you as I always have my phone with me.

You can almost tell a story with the sequence of shots. We decided to take Alfie for a walk today and veered off the beaten path as we took him to another part of the Maribyrnong river.

Alfie always gets excited meeting other dogs and is always keen to run towards them and exchange greetings. He will get all whiny when we stop him short of his intentions as he watches other dogs walk pass him.

Sometimes he’s keen to just keep running, other times he’ll stop and smell everything in sight.

Love the shadows from the evening sun, it gives a lot of contrast and character to the picture.
