life and decay

Took this at the Botanical Gardens. Winter is starting to set in and you see the life from summer slowly transform to decay.

So life is back to what it was. No nagging exam to worry about, and I think I did okay with the paper. Had already calculated at what point in time I needed to finish half the paper and I fell behind and only realised it in the last 30 minutes. Scrambled to finish as much of the paper as possible, so hoping I’ve done enough to get me through.

Got home and overdosed on World of Warcraft yesterday. Heh, the game has been simplified a lot since I stopped playing it in 2007, and it does feel more casual and enjoyable now. Will limit myself to about an hour a day during the week so I can do other things.

Yeap, lots of other things to do. Mainly mundane housekeeping stuff, but also some books to read, and a few personal projects that need to be done. I like not having a countdown timer for when things are due, it leaves you with the freedom to express yourself. Just need to balance that and actually shipping something (like how products are forever in development and never see the light of day).

I shall set out to do things, so let’s see what I’ve done in a week’s time.
