Spring is here, and the pussy willow in my front yard is starting to blossom. Had an idea to take some photos with a gelled speedlight off camera just to see what effects I’d get. It was getting a bit cold as I ran out without my jacket so I only experimented for about 5 minutes. Having a play with light and shadows, so I might give this a go again tomorrow.

There are days when my mind is stuck in a loop. It’s been days since I’ve got out of bed with a purpose. Maybe sometimes you need to go to extremes to reset yourself. I had to ask myself questions, and hoped I was honest with the answers to myself. Today I’ve finally got out of my endless loop. Hoping to be productive starting Monday.

Rewatched the Lord of the Rings, in its extended version glory. Even knowing the story, it still gets emotional on occasion, or maybe the cast play their roles extremely well. That’s almost 12 hours sitting in front of the television. Heh, sort of needed it to get my mind off things.
