Had dinner with friends at the Waiting Room at Crown Casino. Just took some random shots of the interior at the time. When you haven’t got much light to work with, you try your best to frame something interesting. You sometimes get lucky.

Haven’t touched my CPA notes for a couple of months now. Have a couple of weeks left and while I’ve decided to pursue my dream as a photographer, will need this as a backup plan. Heh, it’s sort of like the previous certificate in financial services I did, nearly there but not done. I don’t want this CPA cert to go down that path.

Editing the pictures from Europe now, including Vyanne’s leg of the journey. I’ve finally got a preset mapped out where it just makes the GF1 colours look gorgeous. I still think that this is a very capable camera, and when Panasonic releases the professional grade GX1 with the X lenses, it would make a very compelling travel camera indeed. The primes are great to keep the entire package small, but the 14-42 X lens is almost the same size as the pancakes I currently have, which make it fit nicely in any bag.

Today is the first time in a long while that I’ve voluntarily got out of bed when the alarm rang. I’m putting the motivation back into doing things. It’s good to have the feeling of wanting to get things done. Heh, only problem is that there’s too many things to do now. Haven’t had the need to lose sleep yet, but I may start planning on how I can get the most out of my time.
